About Portrait & Verse

If we've met, there's a good chance I had coffee in hand and a plan already forming — because before I ever pick up a camera, I want to know who you actually are.

I run Portrait and Verse out of Hicksville — headshots, family portraits, and branding photography, each shot differently because they're not solving the same problem. A headshot needs to build trust in five seconds. A branding session needs to sell your work without you saying a word. A family portrait needs to feel like you, ten years from now, still love looking at it. No stiff posing, no forced smile, no "just relax" while you very obviously can't.

My studio is loud with laughter half the time. Nerves are normal here — I expect them, and I know how to work through them with you, not around you.

Outside the studio, giving back matters to me. I am the Co-Director of Flashes of Hope. I go to local hospitals and take portraits of children and their families.
